=Gedevan Popkhadze, a member of the Coalition for Change, is starting a hunger strike in front of the parliament.

According to the politician, he is joining the hunger strike declared by Elene Khoshtaria because he believes that this is one of the right steps in the current situation.

According to him, the government is escalating and cooperation with it is impossible.

"I am joining Elene Khoshtaria's protest - hunger strike. It is impossible to cooperate with this regime in any form, because in fact an illegal repressive system has been created that persecutes people, it is an illegitimate state system that serves the interests of one person. Against this background, if we do not oppose all this, we will betray the people who are illegally in prison and society. That is why I think that today this is a correct form. Either death or victory. I am not calling on anyone, but I think that this protest will become a center of attraction for many," said Gedevan Popkhadze.

Yesterday, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, Elene Khoshtaria, also started a hunger strike near the parliament. As she noted, she is ready to "sacrifice herself to the regime."
