Givi Mikanadze will replace Aleksandre Tsuladze as Minister of Education, Science and Youth. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze introduced Givi Mikanadze as Minister of Education, Science and Youth at the briefing.

According to Kobakhidze, based on his experience, Givi Mikanadze is an ideal candidate for the post of Minister of Education, Science and Youth.
“As you know, today the Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Aleksandre Tsuladze, made a decision to resign. I would like to thank him for his work. A lot has been done in the Ministry during this period, regarding which a couple of days ago, we submitted a detailed report to the public. Once again, I would like to thank Mr. Aleksandre Tsuladze and wish him success in his future activities.
As for the new Minister, I would like to introduce Givi Mikanadze, whom everyone knows well. I would like to say a few words about his experience in the field of education and science. He has a deep academic education, is a lawyer, graduated from Tbilisi State University. Also, the University of Essex in Great Britain. He has a doctoral dissertation at the Free University of Amsterdam. As you know, he has extensive experience working in the public sector, as well as extensive political experience, as well as extensive experience directly in the field of education and science. He was a lecturer at the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for many years, a lecturer and teacher at various universities for many years. He is also the author of a number of books and scientific papers. Accordingly, he has very deep experience in the field of education and science. Also, for the last period, he held the position of Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Education, Science and Youth in the Parliament of Georgia. Therefore, we think that he is an ideal candidate for the post of Minister of Education, Science and Youth. I would like to wish him success in this position,” said Kobakhidze.
