Coalition for Change: Georgian Dream did not support the declaration calling on Syria to revoke its recognition of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region - we do not recognize the so-called government that stands by Russia

Georgian Dream did not support the declaration at the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, which calls on Syria to revoke its recognition of Abkhazia and the Tskhinvali region, and also contains statements supporting Georgia’s territorial integrity, the Coalition for Change says in a statement.

In addition, they note that “the Ivanishvili regime and Georgia’s national interests are incompatible.”

“This is a betrayal of Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and our IDPs. The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly also clearly stated: new fair and free parliamentary elections must be held in Georgia; all political prisoners must be released immediately; the Russian law must be repealed.

We, the Coalition for Change, declare: We do not recognize the so-called government, which stands by Russia and declares war on its own people! We will do everything we can to ensure their non-recognition and ultimate collapse, so that together with our citizens we can return the country to the European path, which is a crucial prerequisite for the unification of Georgia and the dignified return of IDPs," reads the statement.
