The government will present the concept of higher education reform to the public in the near future. According to the government administration, the issue was discussed today at the session of the government commission on higher education reform, which was held at the Government Administration under the leadership of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

"The members of the commission finally agreed their positions on the concept of reforming higher education at today's meeting. The document will be discussed with specialists, heads of higher education institutions and representatives of the business sector for further improvement, after which the final document will be presented to the general public. Work on the concept of reforming higher education has been ongoing for several months.

It was emphasized at the meeting that the concept includes issues that will resolve the challenges facing the higher education system over the next few years.

As the Prime Minister noted at the meeting, based on the concept, it will be possible to improve the quality of higher education in the country and create a system under which young people will be able to receive European-quality higher education in Georgia," reads the information.
