Irakli Kobakhidze: The British official would better take care of the problems in Great Britain - we will not allow violence to be incited in Georgia, including by British officials

We cannot allow violence to be incited in Georgia, including by British officials, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated.

In particular, Irakli Kobakhidze responded to a question regarding the statement of the British Ambassador to Georgia, Gareth Ward, according to whom, "the UK government considers the detention of journalists and the growing repression of critics as evidence of the collapse of democracy in Georgia, which contradicts European norms."

According to Kobakhidze, the British official should take care of the problems in Britain.

"This is a statement saturated with disinformation. When a specific European official supports violence, it is very regrettable and very sad. There are serious problems in Great Britain in terms of media pluralism, in terms of media freedom, in terms of the influence of the "Deep State" on the media, therefore, it would be better if a British official takes care of the problems existing in Great Britain.

As for Georgia, we cannot allow violence to be incited in Georgia, including by British officials," Kobakhidze said.
