Nika Gvaramia: Non-cooperation plus resistance equals "boycott" and there is simply no place for elections in this only correct equation

Non-cooperation plus resistance equals "boycott" and there is simply no place for elections in this only correct equation, - Nika Gvaramia, the leader of the Coalition for Change, who is in prison, writes in a letter that was posted on his Facebook page.

Nika Gvaramia states that the boycott is based on non-cooperation and resistance.

"I want to write about the misused word "boycott". Or rather, about what we actually mean: non-cooperation + resistance.

"Boycott" is more reflected in the content of the ballot paper than in the data of the so-called summary protocol of the elections, that is: when not a single mainstream party participates. When almost all political leaders are in prison, holding legitimate elections is "a priori" excluded. The participation of 2 mainstream parties in the elections creates a risk in this direction. This is a very sad story, but hopefully this problem will remain a problem of these parties, not of our homeland.

Have not you heard of the real results of the "boycott" (remember, this is equivalent to non-cooperation + resistance)?

- What caused the non-recognition of the regime?

- What caused the sanctions?

- What created the objective prerequisites for the protest to be continuous and for there to be not only hope for a real result, but also unshakable faith?

- Why are people sitting in prisons and not only did they not give up, but they gained an unprecedented moral superiority

- Why did the oligarchic pyramid of Ivanishvili's government, which was very stable before, collapse?

Anyone who thinks that this happened on its own is deeply mistaken.

The cause-and-effect relationship is as follows: a system shaken by a "boycott" is a regime collapse. That's how it is, not the other way around. It's always and everywhere like that, not just in oligarchic Georgia.

And finally: when you can't make a rational decision, then you have to follow the moral imperative. The moral imperative has been clearly established for us by society:

Non-cooperation + resistance = "boycott”

And there is simply no place for elections in this only correct (both pragmatically and morally) equation.

The oligarchy must fall! ", - writes Gvaramia.
