Europe wants Georgia to become part of their values, to be a successful, developed, progressive and strong country, but the Kobakhidze and Ivanishvili group is depriving our people and Georgia of this chance, - said Petre Tsiskarishvili, Secretary General of the United National Movement.
According to him, today the Georgian Dream is working on propaganda, as if "someone is forcing them to open a second front."
“Of course, Ivanishvili and his regime have a legitimacy problem, but in reality, Dream is very actively working on propaganda, as if someone, by dragging them into the war, is abolishing Georgia’s visa-free regime, that they are being forced to open a second front, otherwise Georgia’s visa-free regime will be abolished.
Instead of taking the country forward, they are taking it back and returning to the time when people stood in line for visas for hours - if we become like Belarus, Belarusians cannot travel to Europe, one in 10 people can be given a visa and this will be our reality tomorrow. We must understand, first of all, the voters of Dream, what Europe is asking from the Dream, this is the aspiration and desire of the Georgian people to be part of Europe and they also expect from us to live by democratic values, to have the rule of law - when justice is equal for everyone, there should be no political prisoners in prison, no rigged elections - this is what Europe demands from us, this is what Europe expects from us and demands very basic standards from us. Europe wants Georgia to become part of their values, to be successful, developed, progressive, rich, and the Kobakhidze and Ivanishvili group is depriving our people and Georgia of this chance," said Petre Tsiskarishvili.
