The United National Movement does not intend to participate in the Russian special operation planned for October 4 and continues to fight for the ideals of 2003, which were based on European values – this was stated by Lasha Komakhidze, a member of the Kobuleti City Council from the United National Movement.
According to him, the United National Movement is a force that has always resisted and will continue to resist the Russian regime and will not grant it legitimacy.
“As you know, the United National Movement does not intend to participate in Ivanishvili’s Russian special operation and will not legitimize the regime. We continue the fight for the ideals of 2003, which serve to empower the citizens of Georgia.
I want to address those fighters who have been standing on Rustaveli Avenue for more than 200 days now, fighting against Russian rule in this country – friends, I want to tell you that the United National Movement is the most reliable partner in this struggle, and my recommendation is that you stand with us, because the United National Movement is the force that has always resisted and will continue to resist the Russian regime and will not grant it legitimacy.
Fight to the end, fight until victory!” – said Lasha Komakhidze, in a statement released by the United National Movement.
