Paata Manjgaladze: The regime says - you will not live the way you want, but the way Ivanishvili wants; No to the farce, no to the so-called local self-government elections – let’s hold new parliamentary elections and let the people decide Georgia’s fate

“No to the farce, no to the so-called local self-government elections. Let’s hold new parliamentary elections and let the people decide Georgia’s fate. I don’t want Ivanishvili and his violent regime to decide our future,” – said Paata Manjgaladze, a member of Strategy Aghmashenebeli, in a statement to Interpressnews near the first building of Tbilisi State University, from where a march toward Parliament was set to begin.

According to Manjgaladze, the number and position of citizens gathered today in the TSU courtyard clearly show what the people want.

"The regime’s main propaganda is that there is supposedly no protest, no people. But despite the heat, just look — the entire square is full. This country’s true owners are the citizens of Georgia. Yet the regime says: you won’t live the way you want, but the way Ivanishvili wants. What the Georgian people want should not be done — only what Ivanishvili wants.

We must decide whether we will live according to IvanishviliIvanishvili who says 'no to Europe', 'no to development', 'no to civilization' — or whether we will live the way the Georgian people want to live. The Georgian people want to be protected, safe, and for Georgia to be peaceful and strong,” said Manjgaladze.
