Levan Sanikidze: On October 4, what is taking place is not elections, but Ivanishvili’s Russian special operation, whose main goal is to grant legitimacy to Ivanishvili’s government – and Ivanishvili will not succeed in this

We believe that on October 4, elections are not taking place; rather, Ivanishvili’s Russian special operation is being carried out, whose main goal is to grant legitimacy to Ivanishvili’s government, said Levan Sanikidze, a member of the United National Movement, in an interview with Interpressnews at a rally held under the slogan "No to Russian elections."

According to Sanikidze, they will do everything to ensure that the government remains illegitimate.

“The main goal of today’s rally is to reiterate two key demands – holding free and democratic parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners. However, the emphasis is on the fact that we are doing this and intend to confront Ivanishvili head-on.

We believe that on October 4, elections are not taking place; rather, Ivanishvili’s Russian special operation is being carried out, whose main goal is to grant legitimacy to Ivanishvili’s government. Ivanishvili will not receive legitimacy from us, and we will do everything to ensure that his government remains as illegitimate as it is today,” said Levan Sanikidze.
