More unity means more power, more power means more trust and more real opportunities for victory, - reads a letter from the imprisoned leader of the Strategy Builder Giorgi Vashadze.
Giorgi Vashadze is spreading his opinion from the prison facility on what is needed to achieve victory.
According to Vashadze, the so-called format of 8 parties not participating in the elections is good, but it is not enough.
“Friends, from the penitentiary institution I send you my vision of how to achieve victory.
In short, this document is about more unity is more strength, more strength is more confidence and more real opportunities for victory.
Our citizens know this well, they just expect the first step from us.
The path to victory - strength is in unity. The path to victory lies in our unity, in the formation of a powerful alternative. 1. What will defeat disappointment? - Our unity; 2. What will activate the protest? - Our unity; 3. What will accelerate the actions of partners? - Our unity, the visibility of a powerful alternative and resistance; 4. What will bring down the Georgian Dream? - Our unity; 5. What will accelerate victory? - Our unity.
What kind of unity do we need?
Pro-Western political and public groups are uniting in a systematic, parity-based format that takes responsibility for leading the country out of crisis and effectively governing it.
The union operates under a single name - a common brand, which clearly shows the public that it is not a fragmented and opposing one, but a unified, strong center of gravity, while all groups maintain their own identity.
In accordance with this document, they make decisions together, participate together in the upcoming new parliamentary elections and offer the public a strong, real alternative.
It would be good if this unity were initially created on the basis of the so-called 8 parties not participating in the elections and the “opposition platform”.
The fact is, we are stronger together. Unity requires compromise, without compromise we will have difficulty. One of the foundations of democratic governance is compromise”, reads the letter.
According to him, this unity should be led by Salome Zurabishvili.
“I have been in contact with her for the past 2 months and I am convinced of her sincere desire to return Georgia to the path of European integration.
This document does not contradict Ms. Salome's last statement, on the contrary, it complements it”, Vashadze writes.
