“Contractor organizations of the EU Embassy attacked the Georgian Patriarchate yesterday. Either Herczynski will distance himself from this, or it will be considered a personal attack by Herczynski on the Church,” wrote the Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, on social media.
As he notes, this concerns the statement issued by the Patriarchate regarding the law on “family values” and the assessments made by certain organizations in response to it.
