Tina Bokuchava: The special activation of the State Security Service is related to the fact that the National Movement has a growing rating  - I will not allow the State Security Service to filter into the National Movement that aims to discredit Ivanishvili’s main opponent

The United National Movement, as the most righteous and strongest political force fighting against Ivanishvili’s regime, has been and will be a permanent target of the State Security Service, - the chairwoman of the United National Movement, Tina Bokuchava, stated at the briefing.

According to her, the special activation of the State Security Service is related to the fact that the National Movement has had a growing rating, especially in recent months.

“President Saakashvili spoke about the State Security Service’s attempt to hemper the party several months ago. I say with full responsibility that I, as the chairwoman of the party, will not allow the State Security Service to filter into the United National Movement that aims to discredit and marginalize Ivanishvili’s main opponent. The National Movement was formed as a political force that, with a correct understanding of the past, looks only forward, towards tomorrow’s bright, European day. A great contribution to this was made by the most militant, righteous, worthy and distinguished core of our party - the party's youth organization. The special activation of the State Security Service is related to the fact that the National Movement, especially in recent months, has had a growing rating," Bokuchava noted.
