As he notes, Levan Tsanava, who was arrested by the State Security Service on charges of fraud, was provoked.

He is a decent man, a hard worker. To feed his family and children, he worked as a security guard, worked nights, worked as a driver, and in some cases had contact with citizens of foreign countries... If he offered help in arranging documents, where is the crime in that?! Hundreds of people are standing and working near the House of Justice with such offers of help. But, an agent of the State Security Service was sent to Lasha and filmed him on camera.

The public sees very well the campaign against me - by the internal and external enemy. I will not get tired and I will not be defeated in this way! For information, officers of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service arrested Lasha Tsanava, a member of the political council of the United National Movement, on charges of fraud.

As Emzar Gagnidze, Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the State Security Service, stated at the briefing today, Levan Tsanava promised to secure a one-year residence permit in Georgia for a foreign citizen through his connections, and in return demanded 5,600 US dollars.
