Any person involved in facilitating illegal migration should be considered to be undermining the overall development of Georgia, - Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili told journalists, responding to a question about the detention of a member of the National Movement by the Security Service.
As Shalva Papuashvili noted, migration is a challenge in the world.
"In general, the facts and the charges that have been brought concern illegal migration. On the one hand, this is a current challenge in the world, and on the other hand, this is precisely the issue that is important for visa-free travel with the European Union, so that Georgia does not allow illegal migration.
So, any person involved in facilitating illegal migration should be considered to be undermining the overall development of Georgia," - said Shalva Papuashvili.
