Georgian Dream has nominated the most corrupt mayor in the history of this city as its candidate for the Tbilisi mayor elections for the third term - we must ensure that Tbilisi, a pro-European city, does not have a pro-Russian mayor, against whom there are many accusations and questions, - the Secretary General of Lelo-Strong Georgia, Irakli Kupradze, stated at the briefing.

According to him, Kakha Kaladze should not become the mayor of Tbilisi for the third term, because he did not fulfill any of the promises made, or changed them “in favor of Bidzina Ivanishvili and the Georgian Dream.

“Georgian Dream has once again nominated and presented the most corrupt mayor in the history of this city as its candidate for the mayoralty of Tbilisi for a third term. All Tbilisi residents felt his unsuccessful rule on themselves, their safety and their pockets. The fact is that Kakha Kaladze, together with his team, has squandered the Tbilisi budget over the years, destroying the social guarantees that were supposed to be created in this city. Kakha Kaladze's legacy is as follows - total corruption, violation of the interests of citizens, destruction of the city by developers supporting the Georgian Dream and their helpless, huge enrichment. Enriched vice-mayors, heads of departments, governors, who during these years did not serve the interests of Tbilisi population, but on the contrary, served the interests of Ivanishvili and their team.

A city full of poverty, where 153 thousand socially vulnerable people live and thousands of citizens are waiting to receive social benefits. Tbilisi clogged with traffic jams, which is Kakha Kaladze's personal responsibility. Tens of thousands of homeless dogs that pose a threat to the city and the population. There is no proper management of stray dogs, which should reflect the main guarantees of humanity and safety of this city.

Total poverty, when 42 thousand Tbilisi residents are waiting for food in soup kitchens and thousands of citizens are physically unable to receive this food, because they are on the waiting list. The waiting list in Kakha Kaladze's system is disgusting and inhuman, because someone must die from this list or be removed so that someone else can replace them.

The collapsed "Varketili" and "Guramishvili" metro stations, the faulty infrastructure, for which Kaladze is responsible, who has repeatedly shown the rehabilitation of the same park to Tbilisi residents and spent tens of millions, which indicates corruption. Increased fines - for bus travel or parking, as well as for various city services, this means that Kakha Kaladze annually takes tens of millions of laris from the pockets of you, people of Tbilisi, which are then distributed again to the pockets of party members and officials. History does not remember doubling prices, so that tariffs were increased by 100%. Also, the urban genocide that Kakha Kaladze organized for the people of Tbilisi. All the conditions that Kakha Kaladze made have been broken and criminally altered, only in favor of Ivanishvili and the Georgian Dream.
