The conclusion of the illegitimate, Russian commission created in the self-proclaimed parliament will have no legal force - the time will come and the activities of this commission and its members will be the subject of investigation! - Salome Samadashvili, one of the leaders of Lelo-Strong Georgia, responded to the final session of the investigative commission.
According to Samadashvili, the purpose of the commission's conclusion will be to restrict and ban the activities of all pro-European parties in Georgia.
“An illegitimate Russian commission is working in a self-proclaimed, illegitimate parliament. I would like to explain to the public that this commission has no legitimacy not only because the parliament is illegitimate, but also because the commission was created in violation of all the rules of the Constitution and the parliamentary regulations.
Therefore, the conclusion of this commission will have no legal force. The time will come when the activities of this commission and its members will be the subject of investigation.
The Russian commission was created for one purpose - the commission was created as an instrument of political persecution in the country. The commission’s conclusion will have the purpose of restricting and subsequently banning the activities of all democratic and pro-European parties in Georgia. Such is Russia’s task!
The conclusion of Tea Tsulukiani and her Russian commission has one function - it is to serve the interests of Russia.
It is precisely because we do not recognize this commission as legitimate that two leaders of our party, Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze have been sent to prison by the Russian regime. They were punished for refusing to participate in this Russian farce,” said Salome Samadashvili.
The temporary investigative commission of the parliament held its final session, where they approved the draft conclusion. The commission will present its conclusion at the plenary session of the parliament at the beginning of the autumn session.
