Irakli Kobakhidze: Khazaradze-Japaridze have built their entire political campaign on the assumption that the state oppressed them in relation to the Anaklia port, whereas the state had been supporting the implementation of this project from the very beginning

Khazaradze-Japaridze have built their entire political campaign on the assumption that the state oppressed them in relation to the Anaklia port, whereas the state had been supporting the implementation of this project from the very beginning to the end, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Shindisi.

According to the Prime Minister, lies are one of the hallmarks of both their political and business activities.

"Khazaradze-Japaridze built their entire political campaign on the assumption that the state oppressed them in relation to the Anaklia port, whereas the state had been supporting the implementation of this project from the very beginning. We even included a note regarding Anaklia in the constitution in order to ensure that they would attract investments, however, despite such great support, they were unable to attract investments and completely abandoned this project. All this was finally confirmed by international arbitration, but they still do not give up. When you stubbornly repeat something else at such a time, it is clear what their motivation is. Lies are one of the hallmarks of both their political and business activities," the Prime Minister said.
