Government declares August 29 as holiday

By decree of the Government of Georgia, August 29 has been declared a public holiday.

According to the government administration, the decree, signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, does not apply to financial obligations to be fulfilled by persons subject to the supervision of the National Bank of Georgia.

In addition, the decree will not apply to services and employees whose functions are urgently required to be performed.
