Minister of Internal Affairs and his deputy awarded the rank of Major General of the Police

By the decision of Mikheil Kavelashvili, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Gela Geladze, and his deputy, Roland Meskhi, were awarded the rank of Major General of the Police.

Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced the above at a government session.

“I would like to inform you about important news - Geka Geladze previously had the rank of Colonel. Today, by the decision of the President, he will be awarded the rank of Major General of the Police, which he deserves. I wish him success in the future. I would also like to note that the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Roland Meskhi, will also be awarded the rank of Major General. I wish you success in your future activities,” Kobakhidze said.
