The court hearing for Levan Khabeishvili and Murtaz Zodelava has been closed - the judge made the decision after those present in the courtroom started clapping

The court hearing for accused Levan Khabeishvili, chairman of the political council of the "National Movement," charged with promising a bribe to a public official to commit an illegal act and publicly calling for the overthrow of state authority, and opposition politician Murtaz Zodelava, detained for obstructing an investigation, has been closed.

The aforementioned decision was made by Judge Fikria Sikturashvili after those present in the courtroom started clapping following Levan Khabeishvili's statement.

The decision was met with dissatisfaction and noise from those in the courtroom. They were escorted out of the hearing room by the mandate service employees.

The hearing is also closed to the media.
