Pre-trial detention was ordered for Levan Khabeishvili, the chairman of the political council of the National Movement, for promising a bribe to an official to commit an illegal act and publicly calling for the overthrow of the state government, while Murtaz Zodelava, an opposition politician arrested for obstructing the investigation, was granted bail of 25,000 GEL.
The decision was made by Judge Pikria Sikturashvili.
The defense requested that Murtaz Zodelava be released without a preventive measure. In the case of Levan Khabeishvili, the court was offered bail and various restrictive measures. Among them, the use of an electronic bracelet and house arrest. They also proposed restrictions on making statements.

Murtaz Zodelava is accused of illegally interfering in the activities of a State Security Service investigator and attempting to hide Levan Khabeishvili’s mobile phone, the seizure of which was subject to a search warrant issued by the court, in order to obstruct a comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
