Murtaz Zodelava released

Opposition politician Murtaz Zodelava has left prison. Zodelava was released after paying the bail set by the court.

As is known, on September 13, the court set a bail of 25,000 GEL for opposition politician Murtaz Zodelava, who was arrested on charges of obstructing the investigation.

Murtaz Zodelava is accused of illegally interfering in the activities of a State Security Service investigator and attempting to hide Levan Khabeishvili’s mobile phone, the seizure of which was subject to a search warrant issued by the court, in order to obstruct a comprehensive, complete and objective investigation of the case.
