The Prosecutor's Office of Georgia has issued a statement regarding the examination of the phone of Levan Khabeishvili, the Chairman of the Political Council of the United National Movement.

In particular, according to the Prosecutor's Office, the prosecutor explained to the media that Levan Khabeishvili's mobile phone has not yet been examined, since an examination has not even been scheduled at this stage, and he also explained the procedure and technical details, that in general, iPhone model phones may or may not be opened in some cases.

"In order to inform the public, we would like to respond to the false information spread in the media and social networks as if the prosecutor stated during a comment to the media that Levan Khabeishvili's mobile phone could not be opened.
