Irakli Kobakhidze on the October 4 rally: If they hope that by means of provocations and committing criminal offenses they can get away with it, no one will allow that

“If they hope that by means of provocations and committing criminal offenses they can get away with it, of course no one will allow that,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said while commenting on the rally announced for October 4.

According to the head of government, over the years many such ideas had been “brewing” within the radical opposition, but every time law enforcement agencies stood “up to the task” and did not allow such provocations to take place.

“Today our security structures are even stronger, united as one, and therefore, if they have such ideas, those ideas will not be carried out. As for the involvement of Ukrainian security in this matter, it is extremely alarming when representatives of Ukraine’s security service treat our national interests so roughly. This is not the right attitude toward the Georgian people and the Georgian state,” Irakli Kobakhidze said.
