A student protest march is underway from the first building of TSU towards Freedom Square.

The marchers have completely blocked Melikishvili Avenue.

They are holding banners with the inscriptions: “When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty!” The marchers are holding Georgian flags. They are chanting: “Georgia, Georgia!”

According to the students, the goal of today’s gathering is to fight for the homeland. According to them, there will be no retreat in this fight.

"Our message will be that we will not give up Georgia to the Russian Bidzina Ivanishvili and Kobakhidze. We want our future to be free and independent. Georgia will not be Russianized and Bidzina Ivanishvili will not be able to enslave the young generation. The fight will be till the end! Our only goal is to fight for our homeland, so we cannot retreat in this fight! Bidzina Ivanishvili should expect surprises from us, and this surprise will end in victory.

The surprise will be something he has never seen before. A lot of people will come out, it will be a surprise for him. Therefore, he should expect something he has never seen! A peaceful revolution. Revolution is not a bad word," says Datuna Danelia, one of the march participants.
