Salome Zurabishvili: Between 80,000 and 100,000 people participated in the protest rallies against the rigged local elections and Russian governance

Between 80,000 and 100,000 people participated in yesterday’s protest rallies, which were directed against the rigged local elections and Russian governance, stated Georgia’s fifth President, Salome Zurabishvili, on the social platform X.

According to her statement, this represented approximately 10% of Tbilisi’s actual population.

“This was about 10% of Tbilisi’s actual population. In Paris, this figure would be one and a half million; in London, it would be 1.3 million. After 310 days!” Zurabishvili wrote.
