Tina Bokuchava at the EPP Political Assembly: EU member states should not revoke visa-free travel for Georgian citizens - it should only apply to Ivanishvili and his entourage

EU member states should not revoke visa-free travel for Georgian citizens—it should only apply to Ivanishvili and his entourage, stated Tina Bokuchava, Chairperson of the United National Movement, during her speech at the European People’s Party (EPP) Political Assembly in Vilnius.

This information was disseminated by the press service of the United National Movement.

According to Bokuchava, EU personal sanctions should target Bidzina Ivanishvili, his entourage, propagandists, and business representatives.

Bokuchava stated that regime members, propagandists, and the business elite should lose their right to travel to EU countries.

“The EU should also stop providing loans through international financial institutions to Ivanishvili’s illegitimate government, which he uses to finance the repressive apparatus and corrupt schemes,” Bokuchava declared during her speech.
