Tamaz Tamazashvili on Irakli Gharibashvili: I can’t reach him; I’m in Kakheti and don’t know anything

According to Tamaz Tamazashvili, the father-in-law of former Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, he is unaware of the search conducted at his son-in-law’s residence and has been unable to reach him by phone.

“I don’t know anything; nothing has taken place at my home. I had guests and just saw them off. I haven’t called because I can’t reach him. I’m in Kakheti and don’t know anything,” Tamaz Tamazashvili told TV Pirveli.

For reference, Prosecutor General Giorgi Gvaramidze earlier stated that, as part of an investigative operation, searches were carried out in the residences, houses, and personal belongings of former Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili, former head of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, former Chief Prosecutor Otar Partskhaladze, and eight other individuals connected to them. Various electronic devices, documents, and large sums of money were seized.
