Don’t show emotions—I don’t want them to kick you out; I want to look at you for a bit longer," responded Levan Khabeishvili, Chairman of the "National Movement" Political Council and the accused, upon entering the courtroom, in reply to remarks from those present about "how thin he has become."

At this moment, the preventive measure of pre-trial detention imposed on Khabeishvili is being reviewed.

For reference, Khabeishvili was charged under Part 2 of Article 339 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to promising a bribe, money transfer, or other material benefit to an official to commit an illegal act in the exercise of official powers or fulfillment of duties, for the benefit of the bribe giver.

Additionally, Levan Khabeishvili was charged under Article 317 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which pertains to publicly calling for the overthrow of state power.
