The 8th China International Import Expo has, from day one, served as a vital platform for boosting trade, fostering partnerships and promoting innovative solutions; this was stated by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in his speech at the opening ceremony of the China International Import Expo.

According to him, the Expo helps shape a more open and sustainable global economy.

“The Expo continues to demonstrate China’s steadfast commitment to international cooperation and shared growth by opening new opportunities.

China and Georgia are bound by a long-standing partnership built on mutual respect and trust. The establishment of our strategic partnership has opened a new chapter in our relations. Together we have advanced the common goals of peace, stability and prosperity, especially within the Belt and Road Initiative. Georgia is increasingly becoming the strategic connector between Europe and Asia. Our cooperation continues to deliver tangible results in trade, infrastructure and investment, creating fresh opportunities and bolstering our economic resilience,” Irakli Kobakhidze declared.
