This visit was another step forward on the path to further deepening Georgian-Chinese relations, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in China.

According to the head of government, the visit was very interesting.

"First of all, of course, the most important was the meeting with the Premier, where we talked about bilateral relations and discussed, among other things, very specific issues of cooperation, an important topic, in relation to which we want to further strengthen our partnership, cooperation. We received a general promise from our Chinese partners that there will be full support, full assistance in this direction. There is a great interest in deepening our bilateral partnership. This is of great importance for our country, for the realization of our country's national strategic interests, which we have been talking about very openly with our Chinese partners. In the future, we will do everything to further strengthen partnership and friendship between Georgia and China. We had a discussion about this, of course, with the Prime Minister, as well as with the Mayor of Shanghai. This visit was another step forward on the path to further deepening Georgian-Chinese relations," the Prime Minister said.
