The Prime Minister discussed the main directions of the “Long-Term Development Strategy of the Country” with members of the Cabinet and the Mayor of Tbilisi

The Government of Georgia is working on a long-term strategy for the country’s development. The main directions of this document were discussed today by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze with members of the Cabinet and the Mayor of Tbilisi, according to information released by the Government Administration.

According to the press service, the Prime Minister noted that the strategy will serve as a guiding framework to ensure the country’s consistent and stable development in the coming years. Therefore, it is essential to define priority areas, concrete goals, and objectives.

“The strategy will primarily focus on education, healthcare, the economy, and social development. In each of these fields, specific targets will be set for what the country should achieve in the coming years.

Work on the document will proceed intensively, and it will be presented to the public in the near future,”— the Government Administration stated.
