Elene Khoshtaria, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, is publishing a letter from the Rustavi Women's Prison regarding the protest announced for November 28.
As Khoshtaria writes, "regardless of violence and repression, the path of Georgia will be determined by people, not by a historical anomaly in the form of Dream."
"Yesterday's joint statement by citizens, activists, families of political prisoners, politicians, and diverse groups of different ages on the first anniversary of the protest, on the fight with a new attitude, was a great source of energy and strength.
On the 28th of November, we will show that this year belongs to the struggle of people, the dedication of prisoners of conscience, the sacrifice of citizens! The unbreakableness of politicians and the choice of the entire society - let's not give up freedom!
Regardless of violence and repression, the path of Georgia will be determined by people, not by a historical anomaly in the form of the Dream. The chances of our struggle succeeding will be exactly as great as the effort we put into it.
November 28, at 7:00 PM. Until the end! Rustavi Women's Prison,” Elene Khoshtaria writes in her letter.
For information, a rally will be held on Rustaveli Avenue on November 28, at 8:00 PM.
