We are doing everything we can to support the strengthening and deepening of bilateral relations, and you can be sure that there will be no change in the attitudes and approaches of the Armenian side, - Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan stated during a face-to-face meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
According to him, it is the common desire of Georgia and Armenia to have peace and stability in the region.
"Many thanks to the Georgian government for the warm welcome. I arrived yesterday and I have the impression that I have been here all along. This is due to the attention shown to us and the environment that has been created for us here. I am sure that this is also due to the personal relations between the Prime Minister of our country and you, a reliable partnership, and I am sure that high-level meetings strengthen our relations and create new opportunities for us. We are doing everything to support the strengthening and deepening of bilateral relations. Be assured that there will be no change in the attitudes and approaches of the Armenian side. Our common desire is for peace and stability in the region, internal political stability. I think that our population in both Georgia and Armenia will appreciate the efforts of the governments, which are aimed at the sovereignty and independence of our countries," said Vahagn Khachaturyan.
