Everyone sees how specific organizations funded from foreign sources are acting in a coordinated manner to hinder the development of our country, specifically, to hinder the implementation of strategic economic projects in our country, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated in Rome, in response to a journalist's question regarding the Imedi TV report on the financing of online media from foreign sources.

According to him, the only interest behind all this is to try to somehow hinder the processes of economic development in Georgia, although they have not succeeded in this regard.

"This coordinated scheme, in principle, is obvious, but it is good that the journalistic investigation revealed specific facts and details in this regard. Everyone sees how specific organizations funded by foreign sources are acting in a coordinated manner in order to hinder the development of our country, specifically, to hinder the implementation of strategic projects in our country, the implementation of strategic economic projects. The only interest behind this is to somehow try to hinder the development of processes in Georgia, including the processes of economic development. You can see that they are not successful in this regard. Over the past 4 years, we have had very high economic growth - 9.7%, although if it were not for such activities, if it were not for foreign agencies and their activities, their sabotage, naturally, the growth rate would have been higher. Therefore, of course, we must oppose all attempts at sabotage, including foreign-funded economic attempts at sabotage. The state will be uncompromising in this regard. We have seen many facts in various directions, in the past years, when they artificially tried to create obstacles for economic projects, we will not allow this in any case. Be it the energy direction, other types of investments, in all directions that are necessary for the country's economic development, absolutely everything will be done," the Prime Minister noted.
