Nino Tsilosani: On November 28, desperate radicals will gather once again - last year they shouted in vain at Rustaveli - There is no bigger scam than blaming Irakli Kobakhidze for a process that the EU had already suspended

“On November 28, desperate radicals will gather once again — last year they shouted and stirred up the people at Rustaveli for nothing,” said the Parliament Vice-Speaker, Nino Tsilosani, commenting on the rally announced for November 28.

According to her, the European Union had already suspended negotiations with Georgia 5–6 months before the Prime Minister’s statement on November 28, 2024, and then the blame was shifted onto Irakli Kobakhidze.

"On November 28, we will see that desperate radicals will gather once again — desperate because they failed to achieve their goal of handing over this country and submitting it to directive governance. One year will have passed since November 28 when they shouted and stirred up people at Rustaveli in vain, supposedly because they believed Irakli Kobakhidze’s statement implied a suspension of negotiations. In reality, as even their own documents, including letters from the EU ambassador, show, the process had already been suspended 5–6 months earlier. There is no bigger scam than their attempt to blame Irakli Kobakhidze for a process that was already halted. Therefore, a year later, those misled, or forcibly involved in this process, will gather once again to say, ‘Please give us instructions and directives; we don’t want independence and sovereignty,’” Tsilosani said.
