Protesters are marching from the Public Broadcaster to Rustaveli Avenue.

Today's protest march is related to Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's statement made a year ago, according to which the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union will no longer be on the agenda until the end of 2028.

Protesters are also marching towards Rustaveli Avenue from the first building of TSU.

The two marches will join the Philharmonic and head together towards Rustaveli Avenue.

Today's protest, which will eventually move to the Parliament building, will be joined by professors, representatives of various fields, including opposition politicians.

Today one year has passed since Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze's statement that, according to the decision of the Georgian Dream, the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union would no longer be on the agenda until the end of 2028.

This statement was followed by a protest that has been going on for 365 days.

Citizens are gathering at the legislative body with unchanged demands - to schedule new parliamentary elections and to release those detained within the framework of the protests.
