Shalva Papuashvili - There is still time until Monday for ALDE and Lelo to at least formally avoid becoming a party collaborating with a terrorist

The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, states that Lelo-Strong Georgia and ALDE still have time to avoid becoming a “party cooperating with a terrorist.”

“There is still time until Monday for ALDE and Lelo to avoid at least formally becoming a party cooperating with a terrorist,” Papuashvili writes.

The Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, stated on December 3 that if Aleko Elisashvili, who is being detained on charges of attempted terrorist acts, is not expelled, Citizens, Strong Georgia and ALDE will “officially become terrorist-sponsoring organizations” from Monday.

The Strong Georgia-Lelo coalition responded to Papuashvili's statement and stated that Strong Georgia-Lelo had made an official statement regarding Aleko Elisashvili's actions and Shalva Papuashvili can be guided by that position.

The Coalition once again clarified that Aleko Elisashvili is not a member of Lelo, he represents the Citizens party, which is also not a member party of ALDE.

As for the coalition, Strong Georgia-Lelo explains that it was created for the pre-election period and the coalition partnership between Strong Georgia-Lelo and the Citizens party continues to this day.
