When, under the direct instruction and direction of foreign special services, the BBC spreads disinformation aimed at damaging the reputation of our country, of course, the Georgian special services had to conduct an investigation and we saw the result. The result is what was already known to the public and the absolute majority of the public did not even believe that a substance banned after 1930 would have reached Georgia, - Archil Gorduladze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs, stated .
According to him, the investigation revealed that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has purchased a substance that is also used in other countries in times of need, which was supplied to Georgia by Israel.
According to Gorduladze, it turns out that the BBC is accusing Israel of selling a prohibited substance.
"It is an important fact, again and again, as a result of this investigation, it has been proved that the Ministry of Internal Affairs purchased a substance that is used in various countries when there is a special need, in the case of violent rallies and crowd control, and this substance was supplied by Israel. Now it turns out that the BBC is accusing Israel of selling a prohibited substance to Georgia, which is absolute nonsense, an absolute lie. Once again, it is confirmed that the special services and foreign forces had a desire to cause unrest in our country, legitimate public outrage, which would ultimately develop into unrest and agents would come to power. This is another example of how people funded from outside can fight against the interests of our country - exactly the same as was the case several years ago with the so-called poisoning of Mikheil Saakashvili, which the Strasbourg Court considered and a decision was made that Mikheil Saakashvili had to eat, he ate and got better, therefore, he is in a penitentiary institution," said Archil Gorduladze.
