Prime Minister - Since there is nothing to clarify regarding "camite" and prohibited substances section, the topic is closed - all those whose actions are proven to have been directed at violating state interests will be punished to the fullest extent of the law

It is clear that the goal of the hybrid violence against Georgia was to undermine the stability and statehood of our country, to cause unrest in society with fabricated topics and, as a result, to damage Georgia's national interests by inciting another confrontation, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated at the briefing held at the government administration.

According to him, intensive investigative actions will continue in the direction of assistance to a foreign organization by specific individuals in hostile activities.

"Therefore, since there is nothing to clarify and investigate in the area of the use of the so-called "camite" and other prohibited substances, in this regard, investigative actions are over, and the topic is closed. As for the most important part of the ongoing investigation - assistance to a foreign organization by specific individuals in hostile activities - intensive investigative actions will continue in this direction. All individuals or groups of individuals against whom sufficient evidence is gathered and it is proven that their deliberate actions grossly harmed Georgia’s national interests, international image and reputation, and that their actions were aimed at violating Georgia’s state interests, will be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

In conclusion, I would like to thank the State Security Service of Georgia and its head, who ensured the prompt investigation of the issues raised in the report, which was saturated with lies. It is obvious that the goal of the hybrid violence against Georgia was to undermine the stability and statehood of our country, to cause unrest in society with fabricated topics, and as a result, by inciting another confrontation, to damage Georgia’s national interests. We declare with full responsibility that the Georgian state, the Georgian government and the State Security Service, which are responsible for the security of our country, political stability and protection of the best interests of society, will not allow foreign special services and their local agencies to threaten the statehood of Georgia and harm state interests," the Prime Minister said.
