Nika Gvaramia - From what I see, the Dream is in trouble, and what I don't see might be even worse - if they need to, they will arrest some of their own people to avoid admitting to the use of heavy chemical agents

The Dream started an investigation to show The Hague that its investigation was not necessary, as an effective investigation was conducted on the spot - if necessary, they will arrest someone from their own ranks to avoid admitting to the use of heavy chemical agents, - reads a letter of the leader of the Coalition for Change, Nika Gvaramia, posted on his page on the social network.

As Nika Gvaramia writes, the next step of the Georgian Dream may be to declare the Hague court a “deep state”.

“From what I see, the Dream is in trouble, and what I don't see might be even worse. They are simply too confidential and even the interrogated do not have the right to say anything. They probably have passed the communication stage and we will most likely see that they have moved to the fact-finding stage.

The Dream obviously knows (for the simple reason that there probably was a questioning) but they cannot reveal it. They started an investigation to show The Hague that its investigation was not necessary, as an effective investigation was conducted on the spot. If necessary, they will arrest some of their own people to avoid admitting to the use of heavy chemical agents. Instead they will try to use negligence or similar nonsense (as they are now accusing Gakharia of in the June 20 case). But they will not be able to tell The Hague's a "deep state"”, read the letter.

According to him, Mdinaradze's briefing was a ridiculous nonsense - he remained the investigator of the Shevardnadze era. They planted "TNT" on the main witness. The justification was completely weak, even the “Dreamers” wouldn't believe it. Look, they couldn't even refuse: if it were true that they didn't use banned chemicals on December 4-5, why they couldn't say anything from November 28 to December 3? When does this happen? When you know that you can't hide the evidence of this. That is, it has already been obtained with a high probability. Most likely, they know through unofficial channels that this evidence has been obtained either by the BBC or by the court itself, which is essentially the same thing: it's just a matter of time before it takes the form of officially confirmed evidence.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next step is to declare the Hague Court a "deep state" and leave the Rome Statute. But what will they say to the Hague judge appointed from Georgia? Lortkipanidze, the Deputy of the Minister of Justice [Thea Tsulukiani]? It is not excluded that they will say that he is an agent of the “deep state”.

In short, the Dream is in the worst trouble. First, Kobakhidze’s madness brought Ivanishvili to the Hague, no more, no less. I would have never thought of this,” writes Nika Gvaramia.
