The hybrid attack on Georgia using the BBC has failed, yesterday we saw simply inadequate, unrealistic texts. They come out and talk about chemical weapons from the First World War, which everyone already finds funny, the opposition, the majority, even the parrot is already laughing at this false narrative, - the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili noted while assessing the statements made during the debates on the issue of Georgia in the European Parliament.
According to him, the statements made in the European Parliament yesterday were developed according to a pre-staged scenario, however, they were unrealistic, because they were designed for a situation where the Georgian government had not yet conducted an investigation.
"The BBC's false report was part of the hybrid attack that was to be followed by such reactions, but they failed to calculate one thing, they thought that the BBC report would be just a verbal conversation and that in reality no investigation would be conducted. These texts that we heard yesterday were prepared at a time when no investigation has been conducted, and they were planning to call for an investigation regarding suspicions about "camie", but these pre-written texts again went beyond reality. It was inadequate, because the investigation was conducted, everything was done transparently, all questions were answered. Among them, the Prime Minister said, - if any relevant international institution has any questions, be itthe government or law enforcement agencies, we are ready to look into any information, explain it to them. That is why yesterday's statements were misleading and it seems that this was a pre-staged scenario, one of the agents of which was the BBC, which has completely ruined its own reputation and has become a regular propaganda tool for a hybrid attack on other countries. We have seen a hybrid attack on the USA using the BBC, through an attack on President Trump, and we have seen an attack on Georgia using the BBC. This attack failed, yesterday we saw simply inadequate, unrealistic texts. They are coming out and talking about chemical weapons from the time of the First World War, which everyone already finds ridiculous, the opposition, the majority, even the parrot," Papuashvili said.
