There is no talk of any repression of business - if strict measures become necessary, of course, this will also be done in the interests of society, but I think that negotiations are still a priority on this issue, - the First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Gia Volski, told journalists.

According to him, no positives are acceptable for the opposition, which once again confirms that we are dealing with a group of conspirators against Georgia.

"If we are talking about repressions against business, we know what this repression is called. There was repression before 2012. There is no talk of any repression now. If strict measures become necessary, of course, this will also be done in the interests of society, although I think that in this regard, negotiations are still a priority, the primary task. Why this has become a cause for hysteria, we should ask those people who have united in the "revolutionary committee". Of course, no positive, whether it is European studies or World Bank studies, is acceptable to them, nor should it be taken into account, and on the contrary, it causes such a degree of irritation that it speaks of one thing - we are dealing not with opponents, but with a group of conspirators against Georgia. This is very sad," - said Volski.

For information, the Prime Minister stated that the difference between Georgian and European prices for food products is really big. According to Irakli Kobakhidze, the difference is due to the high markup of distribution companies and markets, which averages 86% from the border to the counter. The Prime Minister calls on law enforcement agencies to study the issue related to food prices and determine whether there are signs of a crime. Kobakhidze also asks the Parliament to establish a parliamentary commission to assess the issue.
