Irakli Kobakhidze - "You reap what you sow" - What the European Union did and how it violated international law standards, exactly the same thing came back to it like a boomerang

“You reap what you sow” - What the European Union did and how it violated international law standards, exactly the same thing came back to it like a boomerang, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists, responding to the European Commission’s statement on the US State Department’s sanctions against 5 Europeans.

According to him, the EU’s wrong practice came back to it.

“There is a saying - “You reap what you sow”. The European Union, what it did and how it violated international law standards, exactly the same came back to it like a boomerang. This was, of course, wrong practice, but this wrong practice has now come back to it like a boomerang. This is naturally interesting to us. When we heard the outraged statements of the EU representatives in this regard, this is also very interesting for us," Kobakhidze said.

For information, the United States has imposed visa restrictions on 5 European individuals. The sanctions include former European Commissioner for Internal Market, Thierry Breton, and four heads of organizations fighting disinformation. The European Commission "strongly condemned" the US decision and demanded an explanation from the US authorities.
