According to a decision of the Government of Georgia, within the framework of socio-economic support measures for Ukrainian citizens who entered Georgia due to the ongoing war in Ukraine, as well as for persons holding the right of permanent residence in Ukraine, the validity of the assistance - 300 GEL per family and 45 GEL per person - has been extended until April 1, 2026.
The information was released by the Government Administration.
According to the government decree, the funding will be disbursed by the Social Service Agency based on the list provided by the LEPL Agency for IDPs, Eco-Migrants and Livelihood Provision.
At the same time, the 45 GEL subsistence allowance will no longer be issued from the following month to a person who has obtained the right to receive a monthly allowance of 45 GEL in accordance with the Law of Georgia “On International Protection” and/or who has left the territory of Georgia. The 300 GEL family assistance will be terminated from the following month if all members of the family leave the territory of Georgia.
