“Happy New Year and I want to share one thing.
We, political prisoners cannot complain about the recognition of our hardship, expression of solidarity. In fact, the burden that people involved in the struggle carry is no less, if not more. The burdens cannot be compared, everyone carries them individually.
Therefore, in this New Year, I want to express my gratitude and solidarity towards you: the guards of Rustaveli, lawyers, and especially journalists.
I was outside last year on New Year's and now I am in prison. It is familiar to me that you have a bite in your throat and cannot swallow it, but for my part, I want to tell you that the more good emotions you receive these days, the happier I will be personally! Congratulations!", - reads the letter sent by Elene Khoshtaria, which was read at the rally.
