Another gross interference in domestic political affairs and support for radicalism - this is how Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze assessed the video clip published on social media by the European Union Embassy to congratulate Georgia on Flag Day, which uses footage from the rally.
As Kobakhidze noted, "it is very sad and regrettable when the European Union delegation congratulates the Georgian population on Flag Day with such an offensive banner."
"This is yet another blatant interference in our internal political affairs, that's one thing. Second, it is support for radicalism. When offensive content is posted on Flag Day, it cannot even be assessed.
Of course, this is deliberate rudeness and all this shows the face of European bureaucracy. It is very sad and very regrettable when the EU delegation congratulates the Georgian population on Flag Day with such an offensive banner," Kobakhidze said.
