The Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance is in constant and operational coordination with international partners in the area of sanctions enforcement. Our customs administration exercises strict control in order to completely exclude the use of Georgian territory for evading sanctions, - the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze said in his speech at the event dedicated to the International Customs Day.
According to the Prime Minister, in 2025 alone, the Customs Department made 2,658 decisions to refuse customs operations and return goods to the country of origin.

This data clearly confirms the responsible attitude of our state towards global security and once again emphasizes Georgia’s reputation as a reliable international partner.
