Mikheil Kavelashvili to deliver his address at a plenary session of Parliament on February 17 instead of February 3

On February 17, Mikheil Kavelashvili will deliver his annual address at a plenary session of Parliament. According to parliamentary regulations, Parliament hears the President’s address on the most important issues facing the country at the first plenary session of the spring session. The first plenary session of the spring session was scheduled to be held on the first Tuesday of February—February 3.

As Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili explained at a Bureau meeting, the Prime Minister is scheduled to be on an overseas visit next week. He noted that, given the importance of the government’s attendance at the President’s address, the date was adjusted, and it was decided that Parliament will hear Mikheil Kavelashvili on February 17.
